A humorous collection of anecdotes on the phases of a marriage. These are quick to stitch and fun to give. They are completely stitched using DMC threads.

Speed Bump (77 x 52). The model is stitched on 28 count antique white Jobelan. While doing a show in Riverside, California, we had a stitcher tell us that her husband loved the piece because it fit him so perfectly. He also asked if it was a subtle hint for him to “live a little”... hmm?

Thunder and Lightning (102 x 72). The model is stitched on 28 count antique white Jobelan. The buttons on the piece are from Just Another Button Company. This piece can be easily stitched on Aida as well.

Lap Bird (68 x 72). The model is stitched on 14 count Fiddler’s Cloth. Lap Bird is perfect for a pregnant mom, stitched and framed in a yummy baby frame (for later use) and given at a shower. However, this piece came about because a friend was trying to write in her lap at a meeting and said “what I miss most is my lap”. Many of us can share with that sentiment after spending our lives dieting only to have still lost our laps!
